Hathern
currently has 2 Borough Councillors who represent
the village as well as Dishley and the Stonebow
(Maxwell Drive) areas of Loughborough.
Sharon
Williams says "I have lived in Hathern most
of my life. I am a mother of two and have been married
to Chris for 19 years. I am employed at Hathern
school as a classroom assistant and really enjoy
working with the children and teachers. I became
a member of the Hathern Village Appraisal Group
back in 1999 and remember saying I don't want to
get too involved! From this, I helped form a group
which were able to raise a large amount of money
to pay for a new playground, which I believe is
an asset to the village. as one of your local Borough
Councillors, I am willing to help in any way that
I can. If you require help on any issues, please
contact me and I will answer any of your questions."
